Overview
If you accept an offer and then back out, a $500 cancellation fee will apply.
Why this matters
Bidbus is built on two-way trust:
Sellers must honor their commitment once an offer is accepted.
Dealers must also honor their winning bids.
This fairness ensures both sides take the auction seriously and that every offer you see is real and reliable.
What happens if a dealer backs out
If a dealer fails to honor their winning bid without a valid reason, they are penalized too — and the $500 penalty is transferred to you, the seller, as compensation.
What counts as valid reasons for a dealer
Dealers may withdraw only if major issues were not disclosed during listing, such as:
Moderate or major accident damage
Significant mechanical problems
Severely worn or unsafe tires
Other material issues that affect safety or value
In short
If you back out after accepting an offer, a $500 cancellation fee applies. The same rule protects you as well — if a dealer breaks the agreement without valid cause, you receive their $500 penalty.
