Overview

If you accept an offer and then back out, a $500 cancellation fee will apply.

Why this matters

Bidbus is built on two-way trust:

  • Sellers must honor their commitment once an offer is accepted.

  • Dealers must also honor their winning bids.

This fairness ensures both sides take the auction seriously and that every offer you see is real and reliable.

What happens if a dealer backs out

If a dealer fails to honor their winning bid without a valid reason, they are penalized too — and the $500 penalty is transferred to you, the seller, as compensation.

What counts as valid reasons for a dealer

Dealers may withdraw only if major issues were not disclosed during listing, such as:

  • Moderate or major accident damage

  • Significant mechanical problems

  • Severely worn or unsafe tires

  • Other material issues that affect safety or value

In short

If you back out after accepting an offer, a $500 cancellation fee applies. The same rule protects you as well — if a dealer breaks the agreement without valid cause, you receive their $500 penalty.
