Overview

No — you are never required to accept an offer that comes in below your reserve price. Bidbus is designed to give you full control over the selling process.

How it works

  • If bids meet or exceed your reserve price, your vehicle is considered sold. At that point, you are obligated to move forward at the winning bid amount.

  • If bids come in below your reserve price, you decide whether to accept, decline, or ask Bidbus for help. Our negotiation team can step in to try to get you closer to the number you want.

Why this matters

  • Seller control – You’re protected by your reserve price and can walk away from offers that don’t meet it.

  • Fairness – Dealers know the rules upfront, so bidding is transparent on both sides.

  • Support – If you’re unsure, Bidbus is always available to guide you through your options.

In short

You only have to accept an offer if it meets or exceeds your reserve price. Otherwise, the choice is yours.
